Make A Difference

Here is a chance for you to really make a difference to help disadvantaged 18-24 year olds gain an opportunity to make their first steps in the hospitality industry. Chris Galvin and Fred Sirieix do just that as they set up Galvin’s Chance. They make the difference to these young adults by  providing an in to work programme for them. The programme leads to pre-employment hospitality training, a work placement, sustainable employment and NVQ level 2 apprenticeship. Although to ensure this initiative continues it is funded through the generosity of those that support the hospitality industry through voluntary donations.

If like me, you are passionate about our industry, then join me on the 3rd June 2016 as I take part in the Mayfair Park and Tower Race.

The Challenge:

To run 5km through Hyde Park, pass through the subway under Park Lane and charge into the iconic London Hilton on Park Lane. Although that’s not all, then it’s straight on to take on the tough challenge to power up the 28 storeys to the respite of Galvin at Windows and the welcome sight of a champagne breakfast.

Your Support:

For me to do this, other than sticking to a training schedule to get fit I do need your support. Please donate on my everydayhero fundraising page.

Become a Hospitality Superhero and join me:

To make it even more fun I have set up a Hospitality Superheroes Team page too. So if you are up to for the challenge and want to join me then do sign up and remember to add yourself to our Hospitality Superheroes Team.
